LEEUWIN ESTATE
Leeuwin Estate, unique among wineries for offering dinner service on Saturday nights, is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the chalet. While none of the wineries are located in the town center, Leeuwin in particular is an experience not to be missed.
The chef’s set menu for lunch is acclaimed as the finest in the region, and our absolute favourite. Additionally, make time to explore the private art collection housed downstairs.
Remember to book in advance. And don’t miss their Chardonnay – it’s the best in the region! 🙂
PIZZACA
Hidden beneath ‘La Scarpetta’ – a classic Italian restaurant located on the main street – this atmospheric, subterranean pizzeria and bar is often hailed as one of the most authentic, rustic pizzerias you can find outside of Italy. Their Nutella dessert pizza is absolutely irresistible! It’s a big hit with the kids too!

Voyager Estate stands out due to its meticulous design in every aspect. The majestic Cape Dutch architecture encompasses both a restaurant and a cellar door, all set amid beautifully groomed gardens and breathtaking rose gardens.
Voyager Estate offers an exceptional lunch dining experience with two distinct wine-paired degustation menus. These menus are thoughtfully curated to highlight the art of pairing wine with food, featuring local, seasonal ingredients
LEEUWIN ESTATE
Leeuwin, undoubtedly one of Australia’s most iconic wineries, has garnered global acclaim for its ‘gold medal winning’ wines and exceptional cuisine.
The winery’s Gold Plate award-winning restaurant, with its stunning views of the garden amphitheatre, stands out as one of the few vineyard restaurants open for dinner on Saturday nights. However, I personally recommend dining during the day at vineyards to fully appreciate the views, which greatly enhance the overall ambiance.
VASSE FELIX
Vasse Felix, a perennial favorite, never fails to impress – it just keeps getting better and better!
At the Vasse Felix Estate, guests are treated to much more than a typical wine experience. The restaurant is renowned for its exceptional cuisine, and the view of the vineyard is simply stunning. As for the wine, it’s truly top-notch – we have a particular fondness for their Chardonnay.
Art enthusiasts will be delighted to know that the ‘old’ Vasse Felix Winery has been converted into a public gallery and a space for performing arts, adding another dimension to the visit.
WILLS DOMAIN
Earning the title of ‘Restaurant of the Year 2018’ in Western Australia is no small feat, and Wills Domain, along with their gifted head chef Seth James, certainly live up to this honor.
The restaurant and cellar door boast scenic views of rolling vine-laden hills, valleys, and paddocks, with the Indian Ocean peeking through in the distance.
Choose from their ‘Ã la carte’ options or treat yourself to the exquisite 7-course ‘Tasting Menu’, personally crafted by head chef Seth James.
AMELIA PARK
Amelia Park Restaurant offers stunning views of the vineyard and specializes in French-influenced bistro-style cuisine.
Enjoy sensational seasonal dishes, perfectly paired with Amelia Park wines, all complemented by their warm and welcoming hospitality.
CHOWS TABLE
Enjoy a unique blend of traditional Chinese and Malay dishes, each with a contemporary flair.
Chef Malcom Chow brings his expertise to the table, having refined his culinary skills at some of Australia’s finest establishments, including Vue de Monde in Melbourne and Tetsuya’s in Sydney.

The Cullen Restaurant boasts views of the historic vineyard and aligns with the vineyard’s organic and biodynamic practices. All dishes in the restaurant are crafted with fresh, biodynamic, and organic ingredients, sourced from their own garden and carefully chosen local suppliers.

CHEEKY MONKEY
This venue is a delightful spot for all ages, featuring a playful selection of beers, a tavern-style bar and bistro with both indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks a peaceful lake and a children’s playground.
For an extra treat, take part in the unique, behind-the-scenes brewery tour led by the experienced Brewmaster. For just $25, the tour includes the cost of the tour, a beer upon arrival, and a tasting paddle. These tours are available daily at 12pm.
MARGARET RIVER BREW HOUSE
The Brewhouse is a recent and exciting entry into the craft beer scene in the Margaret River wine region.
Situated at the fringe of Margaret River town and set against the impressive backdrop of the Karri forest, The Brewhouse offers a variety of specialty brewed beers along with casual dining options, including pizzas. It’s known for its vibrant atmosphere, frequented by both locals and visitors, with children playing on the grass and a laid-back outdoor ambiance.
COLONIAL BREWERY
The Colonial Brewing Company, a pioneering boutique establishment, is situated on Osmington Road, just to the north of Margaret River.
With its selection of unique beers, a spacious deck and extensive lawns, plus a playground for children, it’s an ideal destination for a relaxed lunch and a peaceful beer while the kids enjoy themselves.
COWARAMUP BREWING
Venture a little away from Cow Town along Treeton Road to discover Cowaramup Brewing, a family-owned microbrewery.
This brewery boasts a restaurant and beer garden, offering a menu designed to pair perfectly with their range of beers on tap. You can enjoy a variety of dishes, including pizzas, platters, Caesar salads, steak sandwiches, and fish and chips, along with a selection of meals for kids.
THE BEER FARM
This genuine Australian farm, home to a herd of Black Angus cattle, doubles as a vibrant spot for beer enthusiasts when not engaged in farming activities. Here, they brew beer and cultivate a lively atmosphere for patrons, while the kitchen excels in serving the finest paddock-to-plate, farm-fresh gourmet cuisine.
WILD HOP BREWERY
Wild Hop, the latest family-owned brewery nestled in Yallingup, is stirring up the local craft beer scene with their passion for artisanal brewing that both embraces and challenges global beer trends.
Their kitchen team specializes in grilling, flaming, roasting, smoking, and barbecuing seasonal rustic dishes, perfect for sharing while savoring their handcrafted beverages.
EAGLE BAY BREWING
Eagle Bay Brewing Co is a family-run establishment, encompassing a restaurant, microbrewery, and vineyard, all situated on a working farm in Eagle Bay that’s been operational for over sixty-six years.
Boasting unobstructed views of the rural landscape and the Indian Ocean, Eagle Bay Brewing Co provides an ideal setting for a leisurely lunch or an early dinner. Great kids play area.
